Watercolor Art Lighthouse

Calming Our Storm

Prints are Available

ORIGINAL SOLD

I painted this piece for my sister and Brother-In-Law. Their rock solid marriage and everlasting enchantment with each other would inspire any artist. He is an Aerospace Engineer, an avid salt water fisherman with a small collection of lighthouse memorabilia. I can see how lighthouses would speak a message of safety to him. My sister has a personality that reminds me of spring, greeting each new day with a smile. Her ever youthful personality inspired both the style of the structure and my color selection for this theme. I hope every viewer is uplifted by the quiet serenity, sense of security and hope I tried to project through this piece.

The original work, by Teresa Wade, hangs in the collection of Joe & Tahlia Schafer of Renton, Washington; with permission, archival quality giclée prints are available on heavy watercolor paper in a variety of standard sizes.
