My office window faces the Lemhi River, allowing me undetected peeks at God’s wild creations. For years a family of River Otters have called the opposite bank, across from my window, home. I usually only spot them early in each new year, while the snow is still flying. In this piece I have tried to capture the fun loving antics of these masters of grace in the water. Their “class clown” personality brings a smile to my face no matter how fleeting their performance.
This fun piece was accepted into the juried show, Wild Things, hosted by the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri in June of 2015. It was a great honor and privilege to have my work considered for recognition and award.
