This likeness of a Stimulator trout fly fishing lure is fun, fresh and clean. The palette of color compliments and minimal background distractions are what give it that crisp look. I hoped to capture a sense of flight; envisioning it soaring through the crisp mountain air on the end of a master fisherman’s dry fly line. I truly enjoy painting these fishing lures. They let me play with color and appeal to my natural sense of painting precisely what I see.
